We tried this place just before going to the nearby movie theater. It has risen to the Top 3 Mexican restaurants on our list for the area. The chicken enchilada is excellent. The chile relleno was mad with a bell pepper, instead of a poblano pepper, but very flavorful. Watch out, the "medium" margarita is quite large! Try the peach, it is very good, and different.

I stopped in for lunch and ordered shredded chicken nachos. They were very good, chicken was seasoned perfectly. I went to another Collierville Mexican restaurant who served me bland chicken nachos so this was pleasant surprise . Francis our waitress was super nice and made sure we were taken care of. I would definitely come back.

The servers were friendly. The cheese dip and salsa were very runny. Nothing had any flavor at all. Needed spices and salt to start. Ordered the Cancun Especial, but didn't eat much if it. The margarita wasn't awful, but nothing special. I would not go back by choice.

It's pretty good but I don't know of $13 for ground burger in a tortilla with mashed pinto beans is a real value, but that's just the cranky old guy in me.
This location has not done well, first it was Red Sun and that was sub par Chinese food, then the Vietnamese place was excellent but th ju sevice sucked, then the Iron Chef was not dome right but the bigger picture is that the traffic died when Sessel's bit the dust a long time ago. Being wag back in the corner with limited traffic seems to be a bit of a curse.
Anywa, they are doing the best they can with average Mexican offerings and they do have a full bar with one TV with some new appetizers that look good on paper.
The lunch menu is good until 3pm whicj is what I went with. The burrito was ground burger with no hint of Mexican seasoning, the brand and rice were pretty plain as well.
Overall I will make the 10 minute trip to Mi Peublo if I really want something with a more Mexican taste and feel. No mas but restaurant for mi familia
P.S. But a small bowl of microwaved white bland cheese for $7 bucks is not bargain either.

Big lunch portions with decent flavor. Handled our group of 7 with ease. Steak Burrito was solid and the salsa had a nice kick.
